Namco was a Japanese game developer known for its fun and diverse video game catalog. The company originally was founded in 1955 by Japanese businessman Masaya Nakamura as a business focused on installing mechanical wooden rocking horses in public spaces. Namco is best known for its games Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Pole Position, Mappy, The Tower of Druaga, Ridge Racer, Tekken, Soul Calibur, and more.
